A Retail and technology group has announced its grocery, medications and food delivery service Dijo has launched in Gaborone.

The service will provide the city’s residents with access to grocery, medication, takeaway deliveries from their favourite grocery stores, selected pharmacies and more than 50 restaurants and fast food outlets.

Dijo has been available in Gaborone since the commencement of May 2025 with its parcel delivery service, where residents of gaborone can use the logistical  and technological power of the app to get parcels collected and delivered within 40 minuites.

“It is shocking that such a rich nation as Botswana, with more smart phones than human beings and a population seeking convinience still don't have a grocery and food delivery app,” Nii Sylvester said.

Customers will be able to utilise Dijo's highly trained personal shoppers to buy thier groceries from their favourite malls and shops.

Dijo said the service will be available in Gaborone and eventually expand to other cities in Botswana.

The App promises discounts up to 40% and loyalty rewards for its customers.
